SCHWANENSEE

The legend, known in many cultures, tells of the swan princess who can only be freed from the spell of evil through love: the eternal battle between good and evil and the question of illusion and reality.

The wonderful music in its elegance and richness of contrast is always a little neglected in the theater and not sufficiently noticed because of the danced choreography.

In the concert performance, the audience can fully immerse themselves in Tchaikovsky's masterpiece and create their own images and stories. In doing so, they immerse themselves in the dream and legendary world of the swan kingdom.

Tchaikovsky's symphonic music will transform the backdrop of the hunting lodge into the magical realm of the swan myth over the three evenings.

The Orpheus Ensemble Berlin with around 50 musicians from Berlin's cultural landscape will bring this work to life under the direction of Stefan Meinecke.
