The style vagabonds from Berlin

Schnaftl Ufftschik - daring, cheeky and always with a snappy saying on their lips - don't shy away from anything. They combine centuries, musical styles and continents in their music and leave nothing as it once was.

The Schnaftls have processed Tchaikovsky and Beethoven, the Bee Gees and Madness, Paul Desmond and Anton Wilhelm von Zuccalmaglio as well as all kinds of traditional pieces in their very own way.

A classical piece is revived as reggae and a pop song is presented in klezmer style. "Kolomeike", the traditional piece from Ukraine, suddenly gallops across the stage like a dervish at double or triple speed and our wonderfully solemn folk song "Kein schöner Land" is transformed into a racy Latino piece with the schnaftly brass tones. And for the old Schnaftlians, the masters of crossover have the Schnaftl Ufftschik hits “Oi Tate” and “Hava Nagila” in their luggage.

Schnaftl Ufftschik has been stirring up the brass scene for over 25 years. Their trademark is a gifted mixture of jazz, pop, folk, world music, a very unique Schnaftl Ufftschik sound.

And it gets you going, gets you out of your seats, gets you out of your everyday sensory rush(s)
