The sonic.art saxophone quartet is a chamber music ensemble with an international flair. Its members hail from Australia, Belarus, Japan, and Thuringia, and received their training in the music capitals of Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and London. Since their founding in 2005, the four saxophonists have developed a distinctive musical style.

This Advent weekend, they will present a special selection from their diverse repertoire and perform festive works – including excerpts from J. S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio and P. I. Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker.
They will also perform J. Brahms' Hungarian Dances and selected compositions by Leonard Bernstein, revealing surprising new timbres on their instruments.
With charm, subtlety, and a captivating stage presence, sonic.art has earned a well-deserved reputation as a first-class ensemble.
