sonic.art saxophone quartet
The sonic.art saxophone quartet is a chamber music ensemble with an international flair, as its members come from Australia, Belarus, Japan and Thuringia and have studied in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and London. The four saxophonists joined forces in 2005 and have since found their very own style.

On the third Advent weekend, they will play special Christmas pieces from their rich repertoire, including excerpts from J. S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio and P. I. Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. In addition, J. Brahms' "Hungarian Dances" and selected works by Bernstein will be heard, creating completely new sound experiences on the instruments.
With a lot of charm and subtlety as well as a pleasant stage presence, sonic.art have rightly earned themselves the reputation of a top-class ensemble.
