Performance · Berlin Premiere by Darko Radosavljev in the frame of Fold - Resonant Threads

In “Salaš - a working tale”, choreographer Darko Radosavljev explores myths and stories from his home country of Serbia, which are shaped by family dynamics and identities there. The solo performance creates a space between the grandmother's traditions and his own upbringing in Germany.

On the one hand, the term Salaš refers to a specific place in Darko Radosavljev's family history - his paternal family lived in a field hut for farm workers before moving to the village. On the other hand, Salaš also symbolizes a projection and a space of longing. For the audience, Salaš becomes the setting for a shared opportunity to develop thoughts and fantasies about physical work and family community and to constantly reimagine these spheres.

01.03. 17:00 Family Friendly Environment

Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend the afternoon performances marked “Family Friendly Environment - All families welcome” together with their children.

Although the performances are not specifically designed for young audiences, the team wants to create a family-friendly environment, both inside and outside the studio. Everyone understands that children cannot sit still the whole time and families may want to leave the performance during the performance or early.

Unfortunately, childcare is not currently available. Admission is free for all accompanied children up to and including 12 years of age.
