In June, the rose garden at Charlottenhof Palace beckons: historic rose varieties, blooming in different shades of red and pink, fragrant to the nose against a green backdrop, shielded by the expanse of the Charlottenhof landscape garden.

Rosengarten im Park Charlottenhof
In the center, a shady arbor with rippling water invites you to linger. The roses are arranged in geometric beds; geometry, symbolism and plants combine here to create a rushing sensory impression.
The ground plan is reminiscent of the mythological journey to Kythera, the island of love, and Peter Joseph Lenné drew inspiration for his design from a wide variety of sources.
The guided tour will combine the sensory impressions with the design principles of the rose garden at Charlottenhof Palace.
