Winfried Kleindopf studied church music at the Leipzig University of Music. Since October 2014 he has been cantor and organist at the Auenkirche Berlin-Wilmersdorf. In 1999 he won second prize in the organ competition for the Bach Prize of the city of Wiesbaden. As an organist, he performed on numerous important historical and modern instruments.
