The Konzerthaus Berlin team has often heard how vividly the artists in residence and their concerts are remembered - and that this or that person should definitely be invited again. The Konzerthaus Berlin has taken this to heart and is starting a new subscription series in the Great Hall.

Among the first to confirm was Artist in Residence 2019/20, pianist Víkingur Ólafsson, whose sold-out recitals at the Konzerthaus are legendary, be it with works by Bach or Philip Glass.
This will probably not be much different with his interpretation of Beethoven's last three piano sonatas - the Icelandic has a huge fan base in Berlin.
