The first day of the festival gets off to a flying start with two Swiss artists and their impressive bands that are sure to blow you away:

NANCELOT takes flute playing to the next level. Equal voices without hierarchy twist musical expectations and skillfully and agilely wind their way through ravenous labyrinths of notes and intricate harmonies - and then the drums! The wild, interwoven rhythms and melodies become even more colorful and the band's sound develops impressively into a strangely graceful web of joy and thrills. Fascinating!

AKI, the classical jazz quartet, is anything but a classical jazz quartet, because it repeatedly breaks through the guard rails of jazz, treads unconventional paths and defies conventional categorization thanks to its stylistic spectrum, which is open in all directions.
In this quartet, a floating melange of jazz, art-pop and electrifying salon music, you can also hear Lucia Cadotsch's unmistakable understatement sound, which unfolds an enormous intensity and pull.
