About the book: "Urban Planning in National Socialism"
Urban planning was a central instrument of power under National Socialism: for staging power, supporting war and rearmament, anchoring ideological goals, and social exclusion. The book shows how Nazi urban planning served both to secure power and to establish boundaries—and for the first time examines these processes in a comparative European context with other dictatorships.
