ON THE RUN TO THE FATHER IN A CITROEN

The son wanders around the streets of Lower Saxony in his father's Citroen. The father has just died and the son is on the run. But not from the police or from an unwanted inheritance - but from his own grief. The father was a carpet salesman.

All his life, the son despised his father for his friendly nature and the soft carpets he peddled. He therefore considered him a loser who was the perfect victim in a ruthless society. But with every kilometre of his seemingly aimless journey, the son grows closer to his father, and contempt turns out to be deeply felt love.
