This event provides a space for unfinished work—ideas that need discussion, pieces ready for a trial run, or projects in progress. Held on the second Monday of each month, it is designed for writers navigating the in-between stages of their work, organized by the Read Wedding collective.
Most events for writers focus on either creation or performance, often overlooking the stages in between. The moments of uncertainty, exploration, and revision are frequently seen as private rather than communal.
Unlike an open mic, this gathering follows a more flexible structure. Each session’s approach is shaped by the participants and their goals, potentially incorporating solitary writing time, peer feedback, and guided exercises.
Writers are encouraged to bring any preferred writing materials, including digital devices. Regardless of where a project stands, an open and curious mindset is all that is needed to participate.
