QUEER IS BEAUTIFUL 2025

To kick off Pride Week, this year's revue is all about queer Berlin in the 1920s – that exciting time when Berlin became a vibrant capital of freedom and creativity. Let yourself be transported to an era in which queer personalities became visible and shaped cultural life.


From chansons, songs, and musical highlights of the time to lively anecdotes and historical insights, "Queer is Beautiful" will be a tribute to the diversity, attitude to life, and nonconformity of the 1920s. The queer songs of the era will be heard: handcrafted music presented with heart and passion by our artists.


The people behind this unique evening are David Kaiser and Virginia Plain, who are putting together "Queer is Beautiful" with great dedication and creativity. They are particularly pleased that Klaus Lederer and Katharine Mehrling are once again serving as patrons this year – for the third time, they are supporting this unique project with their enthusiasm for queer culture and art.
