This year, the Heckmann-Höfe will once again be transformed into an atmospheric open-air stage with a very special charm. In case of rain, the performance will take place in the theater.

Der gestiefelte Kater Mitspieltheater - open Air
The "Mitspieltheater" (Participation Theater) is an unusual form of theater in which an experienced actress tells a fairy tale, slipping into a variety of roles and fairy tale characters.
The children experience the art of acting firsthand – especially the exciting role changes that the actress performs right before their eyes on stage. But they are not just spectators: The children are allowed to actively participate, listen to the fairy tale, contribute their own ideas, and have the actress spontaneously incorporate them into the plot.
At many points, they are even allowed to take part in the performance themselves! This creates a lively, interactive theater performance – an imaginative dialogue between the narrator and the children.
