Mimi and Oliver are neighbors and fishing friends in a small town on the Havel. They play soccer together, take the pioneer oath and secretly get drunk on their parents' schnapps cherries at family celebrations. When the Berlin Wall falls, their friendship breaks up. Mimi is the last pioneer and writes songs for the KAPUTTEN.

Oliver becomes Hitler, the leader of a neo-Nazi gang that spreads terror. In no time at all, his people take control of the streets and squares. The situation escalates completely. Former friends suddenly become enemies. The anger of the years of change turns into brute violence. How can they ever look each other in the eye again?
