Among others, Olav Amendes' long poem "Flurstück 3587/3588. Gedicht auf ein Haus" (2024) and Alexander Delphinov's "Smirnovs Ausnahmefall" ( 2024), translated by Irina Bondas, will be presented. Birgit Kirberg has also been invited to present her translation of Lucía Sánchez Saornil's "Kopfüber Pyramiden" (2024).

In addition, the publishers of the publishing locations will present texts by various authors, including Munich (Tim Holland reads Luca Kieser "manchmal ist eine tragische liebe" and Nora Zapf "No notizen") and Minsk (Dmitri Strozew).

Olav Amende is a writer, director and performance artist. He studied General and Comparative Literature (MA) at the University of Leipzig. He writes and directs theatre plays and has published texts in numerous literary magazines. In summer 2024, his long poem "Flurstück 3587/3588. Gedicht auf ein Haus" was published by hochroth Leipzig. Based on historical material and interviews, "Flurstück 3587/3588" formulates a polyphonic lyrical cross-section through the almost century-long eventful history of a former civil servant's residence in Leipzig.

Alexander Delphinov (*1971 in Moscow, legal name: Smirnov after his father, who changed his Jewish name Grinberg to Russian) is a poet, journalist and spoken word artist. In Russia, he was also active in the field of drug policy, education and prevention. He has lived in Germany since 2001. His poetry collection "Smirnovs Ausnahmefall" was published by hochroth Berlin in 2024 and is Delphinov's first poetry collection in German translation. Much of it revolves around the autofictional character Smirnov: his childhood in the late Soviet Union, marked by experiences of violence, his life with psychiatric diagnoses, his ironically fractured approach to questions of identity.

Irina Bondas (*1985 in Kyiv) studied interpreting and political science in Leipzig and Edinburgh and works as a freelance conference interpreter and translator from English, Russian and Ukrainian as well as a lecturer and cultural mediator in Berlin.

Birgit Kirberg is a qualified literary translator. Together with Christian Filips, she translated Lucía Sánchez Saornil's "Kopfüber Pyramiden", which was published by hochroth Berlin in 2024. These poems, written between 1917 and 1937, are based on the material of their time. They demonstrate how the aura of traditional Spanish poetry is disintegrating and giving way to a new modernist visual technique.
