The whole new generation of chanson as a reflection of the rudely awakened 20s. An astute analysis of the limits of modern salon skills and a clever course through the stumbling blocks of rhetoric - even at medieval universities it was taught to discredit the interlocutor rhetorically rather than to dwell on content. Along the way, Pigor & Eichhorn expose the supposedly well-known ballad "Ne me quitte pas" as a stalker's wet dream with a precise translation.
