Berlin literature in the Romanisches Café

Peggy Mädler's latest novel, "Wohin wir gehen," tells the story of three generations, three political systems, three pairs of friends, and their stories spanning almost 100 years. Born in Dresden, the author, playwright, and director has lived in Berlin since 1994.



Peggy Mädler will read as part of the event series "Berlin Literature in the Romanesque Café – 100 Years Later." Bernadette Conrad and Michael Bienert will speak with the author about life and writing in Berlin.  


Admission is free, but donations to support the continued existence of the venue are welcome. Tickets available from June 10, 2025. 



This event is offered by the Bezirksamt Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in cooperation with visitBerlin. Funded by grants for special tourism projects in the districts of the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises.
