with Stadtstreicher, Quaster & Friends and The Wild Garden

East Rock Story - "German" doesn't sound, can't rock. This widespread view began to waver at the end of the 60s. Bands like "Panta Rhei", "Puhdys", "Klaus Renft Combo" or "Ihre Kinder" and "Ton, Steine, Scherben" broke new ground and found ways to express the German language through rock.

Because Yeah, Yeah, Yeah wasn't understood in a limited Germany, new rocky German-language songs had to emerge from marching music.

Looking back: What luck, understandable - if sometimes only on hidden levels - lyrics to great melodies. Rock songs that made history.

Playing for you this evening:
Der wilde Garten - by and with Georgi "Joro" Gogow (bands: City, NO55) and on the microphone Karo from Black Rosie, Quaster & Friends (musical stops including Puhdys) and Stadtstreicher (local heroes)
