After the previous special exhibitions at the Berlin Ceramics Museum mainly featured vessels, the 119th exhibition will present exclusively sculptural ceramic works from the 20th century.

A kaleidoscope of shapes, colors and ceramic materials is shown in 20 display cases.

Human figures from around 1900 through to fine porcelain works from the late GDR period. Abstract and figurative objects - including numerous animal figures - from the KMB collection were wonderfully staged and found their way into the display cases of the current exhibition, complemented by loans from private collections.
