The trio around the extraordinary frontman and singer Oimel Larcher (vocals/bass), an absolutely authentic rock'n'roller, who is right up there with the legend Lemmy Kilminster both vocally and in terms of volume. Ex-Thunderhead and Primal Fear musicians Henny Wolter (guitar/vocals) and Klaus Sperling (drums) complete the trio.
With their debut album NITROGODS, released in 2012 on Steamhammer / SPV, they also inspired music greats such as Nazareth singer Dan McCafferty and Motörhead guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke, who can then logically be heard on songs such as Whiskey Wonderland and Wasted in Berlin.
Looking back on over 10 years of band history, Nitrogods is now absolutely proud to announce the release of the 5th longlayer album. It will be released on 25 October 2024 on the Massacre label under the name Valley of the Gods. Another pure and straightforward rock'n'roll LP as a kick in the arse.
Definitely still in absolute accordance with their founding idea.

Musically, the band's style has evolved over the years from punk-a-billy to punk rock to metal with prog and blues influences. With the addition of metal drummer Marc Reign (ex-Destruction) and blues rock guitarist Wally, BONSAI KITTEN, together with Spoxx on 3-string, have now taken their trend-setting and critically acclaimed predecessor LOVE AND LET DIE (2020) one step further with LET IT BURN (30.08.2024)!
