Martha Argerich described Daniil Trifonov's qualities with almost astonishment: »He has everything and more – tenderness, but also demonic. I've never heard anything like that before."

At the end of the year, the star pianist will perform the monumental, virtuoso Piano Concerto No. 2 by Johannes Brahms with the Berlin Philharmonic and Kirill Petrenko. Afterwards, two magnificently orchestrated dance works by Richard Strauss with the most contrasting expressions can be heard: on the one hand, a charming waltz from Der Rosenkavalier, on the other hand, Salome's dance with its offensive, almost brutal sensuality.
