In the days of the airlift and the sultana bombers, the SilverWings was the officers‘ club (’NCO Club Silver Wings"), where even Johnny Cash played live. The club reopened in 1998. A unique atmosphere for parties and events in the rock, independent, punk and rock'n'roll/rockabilly genres.

You can dance to DJs or attend live concerts on two floors. You can take a break from rocking out at the large bar in the centre of the room. Legendary: the Eis am Stiel party on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. The party series, which has been running since September 2001, is one of the most successful heart'n'soul/rock'n'roll parties in the city and is known far beyond the city limits. Every 2nd Saturday it's ‘Lemon Popsicle - The slightly different party’ and every 4th Saturday ‘Heart'n'soul Club - Soul of the 60s and 70s’.
