Einblicke in die Vorbereitungen zur großen Rico Puhlmann-Retrospektive im Jahr 2025
Rico Puhlmann (1934-1996) was one of the most internationally renowned fashion photographers of his time. Puhlmann entered the fashion magazine industry as an illustrator before creating cover motifs and editorials for the world's most widely read fashion magazines such as Vogue, Stern, Constanze, Glamour, Fashions of the Times, Harper's Bazaar, Amica and GQ, first in Berlin and then from New York.

His photographs, which document central themes in fashion history over four decades, will be on display at the Museum of Photography from June 2025.
As part of the Nah dran! event, a selection of drawings and photographs by Rico Puhlmann can be viewed up close, without frames or glass. Stories that can be discovered on the backs of the works are told. Thoughts on the concept and exhibition design are shared and ideas for the accompanying program are exchanged.
