The extremely rare graphic cycle The Times of Day by Philipp Otto Runge (1777-1810) is a highlight of the collections in the art library. In the event, these four world-famous and enigmatic graphics can be seen up close for the first time.
Together with the artist Anton Würth, his essay on Runge will be presented. In his series of four copperplate engravings from 2020, Anton Würth has succeeded in a fascinating reinvention and continuation of the ornamental imagery - a new look at romantic modernism!
