Lesung und Gespräch mit Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç

Night in the MEK is a story in five chapters that Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç wrote for the installation "Muslim Invisibilities". At the center of each chapter is an object he has chosen. The story moves between autobiography and fiction.

It focuses on memories and rituals, on everyday family life and dreams, in order to look at things from a different, literary perspective. And it asks about the past, present and future of Muslim life in Europe.

At this event, Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç will read Night in the MEK himself. Afterwards, the focus will be on a joint conversation with the author: on the creation of the texts, their topics and further questions from the audience.

Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç is a political scientist, freelance author and poet. In addition to academic texts, he writes columns, essays, radio plays and poems.
