News junkie or news avoider? With NACHRICHTEN - NEWS, the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin is showing an exhibition on the question of how we inform ourselves - from the first historical flyers to modern real-time reporting. Running from 11 October to 7 September 2025.

Explore the fascinating world of news. From the beginnings of news agencies to the digital headlines of today.

How is news created, how does it influence our view of the world and why is it sometimes so difficult to keep track of the flood of information?

Discover what role news plays in your life and how you can stay well informed in a world full of information.

To mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of dpa, the curators are focussing on news agencies as actors of independent, international, journalistic contributions.

NACHRICHTEN - NEWS interactively invites visitors to explore their individual habits, needs and knowledge: type their own news report on a typewriter, distinguish facts from fakes and swipe to find their personal news match. Together with the Newzees from #UseTheNews, the curators look to the future - with innovative ideas for journalism and the question of what we need to be well informed now and in the future.
