Manfred Kullmann presents his own compositions colored in Spanish. With a penchant for intimate atmospheres, he tells stories, sketches situations, emotions and describes the incomparable beauty of the island of Mallorca. In the pieces "classic goes jazz" Manfred Kullmann translates classical music into the language of jazz, dusts it off and interprets it with his experiences from decades of living music.

Manfred Kullmann is one of the great pianists of the German jazz scene, has performed with Stan Getz, Ernie Watts, Billy Cobham, Chick Corea and Philip Catherine, and has accompanied Lee Konitz, Shirley Bassy and many other international stars on the piano.

His piano playing is highly demanding and complex. In his expressive playing he combines a romantic concept with the harmonies and rhythms of contemporary jazz - interpreted with brilliant creativity and a virtuosity to which there seem to be no limits.
