Public Concerts

The first Musethica session in cooperation with the Odesa National Academy of Music in Ukraine starts on 11 May 2025. Three Ukrainian musicians will join forces with Berlin music students to organise a week of concerts in Berlin.

They are all taking part in the Musethica training programme. The aim is to offer young musicians the opportunity to play a large number of concerts within a few days - and thus reach people who do not have the opportunity to attend a concert due to their respective life situations.

A total of four young students from Odessa and Berlin will be playing in various social institutions from 11 to 17 May: from the women's prison in Neukölln to the DRK clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry to the Bethanien primary school project for pupils whose school development is at risk.

The young musicians:

  • Yelyzaveta Koval, violin
  • Sofiia Malynovska, violoncello
  • Adam Koch Christensen, violin
  • Syon Najman, violoncello

The young musicians will be accompanied by two tutors: violist Olena Bazan, lecturer in chamber ensemble at the Odessa Academy of Music, and Avri Levitan, founder of Musethica and also a violist. The tutors not only provide intensive coaching, but also rehearse works with the young musicians, which they perform together on stage.

In addition to nine concerts in social institutions, the programme also includes two public concerts. The concerts are free of charge and are open to all interested parties.
