The scene takes place in Berlin in the wicked 1920s. The criminal court has gathered in a secret salon to investigate a crime within their own ranks. Who murdered Orakel-Ekki? Lucy, the tipsy widow and cabaret singer, and her pianist, Klaus, suspect Charly.

The scantily clad sleepwear representative is said to have refused to give Orakel-Ekki heart tablets and loved him to death. She is now to be hanged for this! But Charly vehemently protests her innocence. Is she really responsible for the death of her secret lover?
Inspector Engelbrecht is meanwhile searching for the precious blood ruby that was recently stolen from the New Museum. Where is the main suspect, Klunker-Konrad? Are the two cases connected in the end?
The audience tries to unravel the threads of a tricky story about greed and jealousy together with the inspector. Each viewer takes on a role from the criminal database and decides for themselves how intensively they want to participate in the investigation.
Has the fleet Bodo got rid of his rival at the beautiful luxury Lotte? Are ruffle-Emma and knock-out Rudi involved in the matter? And what is the prophecy of the wise Karla all about? Between the exciting investigations, Lucy and Charly sing murderous chansons and serve criminal delicacies in three courses.
