Museum workshop for families with children 10 years and older

Thousands of precious Asian porcelains originally decorated the rooms of Oranienburg Palace. Even today, some of them can still be seen in the porcelain chamber. A closer look reveals how imaginatively the porcelains are painted.

In the workshop, participants try out the technique of underglaze painting themselves. Plants, animals and landscapes are painted on ceramics. Motifs from Far Eastern ink painting serve as models.

Artistic director: Ilka Zofia Neumann (graphic artist/painter)

Note: Ceramic blanks are painted. These are fired by and can be picked up after 14 days in the Oranienburg Castle at the cash desk.
