Special guided tour with zookeeper Mirko Wunderlich, SPSG
Peacock Island would be hard to imagine without its many (farm) animals. Horses, sheep, buffalo, chicken and of course the impressive peacocks can be seen on every walk around the island. To be able to experience all this, you need an experienced and dedicated animal keeper to look after and rear the animals.

Animal keeper Mirko Wunderlich will talk about the variety of his work during a tour, give you a look behind the scenes and show you one or two peacock chicks.
Of course, the animals not only have a decorative function, but are often indispensable in the care and preservation of valuable habitats on Peacock Island.
