The Maxwell Quartet started in 2010 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where the founding members met as postgraduates. The following year, the quartet was named Young Artists in Residence at the Conservatoire and selected for Enterprise Music Scotland's residency program. Presenting Scottish sounds is a matter close to the hearts of the four musicians.
