Marc-Uwe Kling is one of the most successful authors in Germany. Millions have read his stories about a communist kangaroo.The inventor of the Kangaroo Stories, creator of Quality Land and spiritual father of the Nohorn - to name just a few of his creative machinations, has been a regular guest on the stage of the Mehringhof Theater since 2007.

With his Lesedünen colleagues, he published the anthology "On Waking and Sleeping". The same publisher also published "The Wrong Calendar" and "The Wrong Calendar 2", which offer fake quotes 365 days a year.
Kling's first children's book, "Princess Popelkopf", was published in 2015. His first novel "QualityLand" was on the German bestseller lists for months, has been translated into twenty-four languages so far and was published as a graphic novel in 2020.
