"Let’s Walk" Tour
Her musical journey began in the 1980s as a street musician in the Parisian student district “Quartier Latin”, where she was quickly compared to the legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday - a comparison that soon aroused the interest of the music industry.
In June 2024, Peyroux released her ninth album “Let's Walk”. With new music in her luggage, the singer with the charismatic, smoky voice, who grew up in Brooklyn, California and Paris, will be coming to Germany for three concerts in 2025 as part of her “Let's Walk” tour, making a guest appearance in Berlin on February 9.
Madeleine Peyroux celebrated a remarkable success in 1996 with her debut album “Dreamland”, thanks to her extraordinary interpretation of blues and jazz classics. In 2016, she celebrated her 20th anniversary with the album “Secular Hymns”, which offers a mix of soul, jazz, blues and dub sounds and includes cover versions of well-known artists. Her 2018 album “Anthem”, named after a song by Leonard Cohen, was created in collaboration with her producer Larry Klein and other musicians.
Madeleine Peyroux remains an outstanding voice on the music scene, delighting fans around the world with her unique artistry and unmistakable style.
