Great feelings have always existed

At the beginning of this year, a certain Schmielefski suddenly appeared on the Berlin vintage pop scene, his suitcase full of great emotions. An original Berliner who had been transported from the Golden Twenties to present-day Berlin.

Under the impressions of the modern world, he had composed an album full of songs that could have been hits in the 1920s and early 1930s, had they been written then.

In January, they appeared on his poetry album called "Zeitraffer". The B.Z. found them to be "catchy tunes", and Deutschlandfunk Kultur also liked "a very nice trip into the past".

In the meantime, Schmielefski has found his way around Berlin today quite well, gathered a new band around him and is now presenting an expanded program as a revue of told stories, with original props and matching songs that show that great emotions have always existed.

Under the motto "Die Sehnsucht brennt" in the Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain.
