Michael Hatzius, the multiple award-winning puppeteer and comedian, will help shape this evening together with the all-knowing, grumpy, charming lizard. As always, the lizard will loudly share new anecdotes from his colorful life, surf thematically through the past, present or future and not leave out even the most remote corners of impossible trains of thought. And of course the lizard always has an open ear for the audience, because improvisation is Michael Hatzius' great passion and so every evening is unique.

Our lives are accelerating more and more; we constantly have to find new answers to new questions. “The Gorillas” Berlin's most famous improvisation theater reacts to this immediately, directly, up-to-date, personally and in the truest sense of the word unique. The gorillas immediately implement the themes presented by the audience in theater scenes. That is the appeal and special thing about improvised theater, because the viewer sees the event unfolding before his or her eyes, so that the emotional exchange between the players and their audience is exceptionally high.

The Berlin comedian and cabaret artist “Der Tod” has been traveling in German-speaking countries since 2011 and is trying to give the Grim Reaper a better reputation in his image campaign. With humor and great joy for life, he not only performs in theaters and concert halls, but also repeatedly in hospices, hospitals and retirement homes. In addition to the books "My Life as Death" and "Death in Germany", the always hidden artist, whose true identity remains consistently hidden in the shadows, published and developed three full-length solo programs, which were awarded, among other things, the jury prize of the Wühlmäuse cabaret festival, were awarded the Audience Prize of the Leipzig Lachmesse or the Thuringian Cabaret Prize.

Since 2020, the Grim Reaper has had his own talk show called “Ghost Hour”, which always takes place at midnight in Berlin’s BKA Theater and in which “Der Tod” only invites talk guests who are professionally involved with the topic of dying and death. Well-known personalities such as criminal biologist Dr. Mark Benecke, crime scene cleaner Thomas Kundt and the Munich corpse preparer Alfred Riepertinger.
