The "lightsaber", which was previously offered by various manufacturers as a toy or collector's item, has been further developed in LudoSport into a reliable, safe and combat-ready object.

Lightsaber fencing is reminiscent of the epic duels from a distant galaxy, but there are no staged choreographies or show fights, but rather safely executed techniques within a clearly defined set of rules that give the whole thing a sporting character.
Specially made sports lightsabers are provided for this purpose, which were developed specifically for LudoSport, as the official name of lightsaber fencing is. LudoSport is practiced by around 5,000 athletes worldwide and has now also gained a foothold in Germany.
On January 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. a LudoSport workshop for children will take place in Berlin.
Participation age is between 8 and 12 years.
Sporty clothing, something to drink and fun are required.
