LEYA’s latest full-length release, I Forget Everything, marks their first return to the studio since 2022’s Eyeline. It is their first solo record containing elements of electronic production, sourcing from home-recorded to high-fidelity sounds, tracing the bounds of new experiments, while remaining rooted in harp, strings, and voice as the sole source of these sounds.
Perfect Deleted Futures is the moniker of Caleb Salgado, a multi-instrumentalist and researcher working at the intersection of sound, philosophy, and art. In past efforts, Perfect Deleted Futures work deployed electro-acoustic methods weaving together double bass zones in the liminal space psychoacoustic textural space between composed and improvised practices. The results have been post-genre musics harkening back to and synthesizing musique concrète, drone, ambient, post-techno textures, and noise.
