Let’s play board games and practice English together. In this course we will play a variety of games (i.e., Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Taboo, Scotland Yard, etc.) in a group. Game ideas from participants are also welcome.
During board games, any grammar questions or mistakes will be corrected during the game. At the end of the game, they will be explained in more detail. This may be followed by a discussion of the game results, emphasizing grammatical tenses, modals and conditionals.
The emphasis of the course is to practice speaking, learn grammar and have fun!
Previous knowledge of the language at level A2/B1 is required. Teaching materials will be provided by the course instructor. A personal notebook for personal notes is recommended.
