Organ concert with Gerhard Oppelt
After half a century of temporary solutions, the monastery church is scheduled to install an organ by renowned organ builder Kristian Wegscheider this year. Originally built for a parish in Cologne, the instrument will find a new home in Lehnin.

Until then, Gerhard Oppelt will play works by J. S. Bach, N. de Grigny, P. Bruna, and others on the small Schuke organ intended as a temporary solution. As night falls, the monastery church will be effectively illuminated, inviting visitors to listen and see.
