This soul, which leads through the story as a lyrical I, is the basis of Mark Scheibe's music, which knows inner turmoil and makes the restless passion audible.
Together with pianist Will Fergusson, the expressive baritone Caspar Lloyd James gives us a song recital that promises the red from heaven:
