The Pictures exhibition presents the fascinating world of the renowned fashion and portrait photographer Kristian Schuller. With his unmistakable visual language, the solo show takes you into a fluid transition between the present and the past, dream and reality.

Visitors can expect a visual adventure through Schuller's energetic world of images - sometimes in bright colors, sometimes in intense black and white tones.

His works range from impressive star portraits of international personalities such as Katy Perry or Cate Blanchett to atmospheric fashion productions full of theatricality and elegance.

As a contrast to these colorful images, Kristian Schuller shows a series of black and white portraits from Transylvania - a homage to his roots. Here the viewer encounters people whose striking faces shaped him in his youth.

These direct, haunting glances reflect a world that forms a counterpoint to the dazzling dream worlds. Both series tell stories, invite you to immerse yourself in personal encounters and give you an idea of what new chapters Schuller's poetic, restless journey still has in store.

Schuller's visual language, which is created in close collaboration with his wife Peggy, thrives on playful experimentation and unexpected compositions. His targeted use of blur, combined with the sophisticated play of light and shadow, creates a mystical atmosphere that leaves room for your own interpretations.

His enthusiasm for colors and light is deeply rooted in his childhood: Growing up in Romanian communism, Schuller experienced a world of monotonous gray - an aesthetic that he rejected early on. Instead, he was fascinated by people who fought against desolation with humor, wit and improvisation. This influence permeates his work to this day and makes Pictures an invitation to embark on a visual journey full of intensity, liveliness and imagination.
