In the 2014/15 season, Juraj Valčuha worked with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin for the first time. Now the Konzerthausorchester Berlin is starting a new season with the new first guest conductor Juraj Valčuha.

Juraj Valčuha studied conducting and composition in Bratislava, St. Petersburg and Paris and made his debut with the Orchestre National de France in 2005. Invitations from numerous orchestras followed, including the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony and the New York Philharmonic.
