Karussell – the Leipzig rock legend with hits from 10 albums. Hosted by radio presenter Lutz Stolberg. The band was founded in Leipzig in 1976 by Wolf Rüdiger Raschke and performed very successfully in various line-ups until 1989.

With the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, this era came to an end. In 2007, the band founder's son, Joe Raschke, succeeded in reviving Karussell. The first concerts and intensive creative work on new songs and lyrics followed.
In the band's long history, Karussell has toured Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia, South America, France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Uruguay, Cuba, and Belgium with 10 albums, film soundtracks, and videos.
On this evening, the band takes its audience on a very sensitive journey through time, past and present. She has maintained her high standards for lyrics and music and impresses with a contemporary stage sound and an excellent light show.
