Based on the timeless novel by Sir Rudyard Kipling, the musical takes its young audience into a world full of adventure, friendship and courage.
In this rousing musical version of ‘The Jungle Book’, children meet Mowgli, the courageous human child who grows up in the jungle. Together with his friends, the good-natured bear Baloo and the wise panther Bagheera, Mowgli experiences exciting adventures. The colourful characters and catchy music promise an experience that will delight children and adults alike.
The touring theatre ‘Theater Lichtermeer’ was founded by André Hajda and Timo Riegelsberger in Itzehoe in 2013 and has been creating musical experiences for the whole family ever since. Over 400,000 children and adults throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland have now seen the adventures of ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Mowgli’, Robin Hood’, “Jim Button”, “The Little Dragon Coconut” and “Jan & Henry”.
