He breathes life into mysterious characters and becomes from song to song, from line to line more difficult to characterize. It doesn't take more than a guitar and a piano to completely captivate his audience, because when Allen sings, the head cinema is in top form and he masterfully proves that he always manages to defy all demons and to light little beacons even in the deepest melancholy.
