In their joint project, the two exceptional musicians, violinist Matthias Well and pianist Lilian Akopova, dedicate themselves to sophisticated interweaving of two musical genres: jazz as a source of inspiration for various classical compositions since the 20th century.

This incredibly varied program by the duo spans an entire century: it ranges from Ravel's "Blues Sonata" to Piazzolla's "Nightclub 1960" and "My Man's Gone Now" from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess to what Matthias Well considers "perhaps the craziest piece", namely "Le boeuf sur le toit" by Milhaud. There is also "Kaleidoscope" by Cojocaru, dedicated to the two of them.
