Born in Gainesville, Georgia (USA), Ingrid Arthur is one of the most powerful voices in contemporary music. She is not only a wonderful singer, she is truly one of the goddesses of soul.

Throughout her career, Ingrid has collaborated with many international stars such as Cissy Houston, Bette Midler, Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Caesar and Dorothy Norwood. She has performed on stages in New York, Paris, London and Berlin and has received standing ovations everywhere for her professionalism, personable appearance and unique voice.

Whenever the doors or curtains open for Ingrid, she captivates the audience with her unique performance. Even apart from her solo career or her successes with the Weather-Girls she proves again and again her musical extra class in the most different constellations and styles; from the "Golden Gospel Singers" over tours with James Last up to her current performance in the success musical "Velvet" in Hamburg, where she is the undisputed star of the show as a disco diva and enchants hundreds of guests every evening.
