Klangwerkstatt Berlin 2024
The Duo Interconnections (Clara Simarro, harp, and Richard Putz, multipercussion), founded in 2022, will present current works, mostly written for them, by Vito Palumbo (WP), Mathias Spahlinger, Sagardía, Aureliano Cattaneo (WP) and Jeffrey Holmes (WP) at their debut at Klangwerkstatt Berlin.

During this evening, space and time in music are developed acoustically in different ways:
In Vito Palumbo's composition, sound particles form the space as sounding elements. Mathias Spahlinger's rhythmic patterns create complex time structures through superimposition.
Aureliano Cattaneo plays with the dimensions and specific resonance spectra of the harp, while Jeffrey Holmes evokes movement in space by enlarging and reducing rhythmic structures. And Sagardía turns common listening expectations upside down by defining space through a tension field between radically increasing silence and extreme dynamic sequences.
All pieces of the program have their own focus on perception, on listening carefully and discovering the unexpected in common.

PARKING Unfortunately, Kunstquartier Bethanien does not have its own parking spaces and therefore no disabled parking spaces.
