This family programme provides an easy-to-understand and entertaining tour of "BerlinZEIT", the city history exhibition in the Ephraim-Palais Museum.
Families explore Berlin's past in a variety of ways. As they sprint through the city's history, they discover extraordinary objects and amazing stories together. They can try out lots of things and experience them with all their senses.
What did medieval fabric feel like? What did Berlin smell like around 1740? What new inventions made everyday life in the city easier and how did children live around 1900?
Along the way, they will encounter Berlin's oldest domestic pig skeleton, a plague doctor, the "Pitty" scooter and other contemporary witnesses to the city's history.
